box If you are here you are either interested in the actual project or you accidentally stumbled upon this site. Basically what I have done here is recreated the SNK vs Capcom Card Fighter Clash for the Neo-Geo Pocket Color onto actual playing cards so that you  can play the game with your friends in real time, since not many people have a NGPC these days. I started this project back in January 2002 and never was quite happy with it. So now that the DS version of the game has been released and proven to be inferior to the NGPC version in many ways. I've decided to finish this project. As of September 14 2007 the initial card set is done. I know what you might be thinking, "That would cost too much money to print off." Not true, if you have a good printer you can print off a deck for the price of an ink cartridge and paper. Otherwise if you have a professional print it for you it would still be fairly cheap. I printed the entire set for $120. 424 Cards total which amounts to about $0.28 per card and that's both sides of the card to be printed up and then proffesionally cut.
retro gamer I know this is a bit old now but better late than never! Card Fighter Project was featured in Retro Gamer Magazine by Image Publishing. I thought that I would just put a scan of of the small article. The only thing is that they never put the address to CFP in the article. Oh well I guess you can't have everything.  View the Article.

As I mentioned 2 days ago that I've begun to work on converting the DS cards for use with the original rules. Few things have changed. I'm not going to get into it right now but some of the rules when using the DS cards will be slightly different, but don't worry it's not going to be a big change.  I have the first 16 DS cards up and ready to go. To view the cards simply go to the sections: Capcom, SNK, Action, or Reaction. Then you will be prompted to enter either Card Fighter Project or Card Fighter DS Project. SNK and Action sections only have 1 card but Capcom has 10 and Reaction has 4.

Card Fighters Clash 2 English Translation Finished  - 2.27.2008 9:00AM Central
Flavor has announced about a week ago that the translation is finally finished on the Neo-Geo Pocket game Card Fighters Clash 2. Head on over to his site for details.

SNK DS section updated with 11 new cards. Also I went back over the DS cards and put a filter on the card picture rather than leaving it pixelated. I felt the pixelation worked fine for the first series but not with the DS series.

Couple errors on cards that I caught. C002 - Ken had wrong back up info. A015 was missing shadows. C091 Wang Tang at some point in time had the lots of wrong info. So if your card C091 is actually labled as card C088 then you have a misprint and you will want to get the one I've uploaded now.
And if you have not noticed there is a new navigation button on the left side that will bring you right over to our friends that are setting up the English translation to SvC: CFC2 so don't forget to check on the progress.
